I have started on the top for RTW2. Ive done one side in chiffon and one side in jersey but cut the necklines the same so it can be worn either way. HOWEVER, Because the jersey in heavier than the chiffon it falls slightly but we can tack it to the strap that goes across. Just a thought. I'll get that finished tonight, then at least we have it as a backup incase I dont get enough time to make another one completely out of jersey:) x

I don't know why fonts have suddenly become top of my priorities when I have a sketchbook to do...

A little bit irrelevant now.

Basically I just googled John Willie, who you know did all those images of the woman tied up and what not. And he has got loads of like really saucy illustrations. Just thought I'd tell just incase you wanted to add it on to your bondage research lovely.

Header.

Jess, just wondering if you've got any ideas for fonts for the header and then I can get that done too. I'm just gonna try and put the blog back to normal since I messed it up last time.

MORE RESPONSES!!!

THE AMAZING PIECE (understandably deserving of capital letters to prove how good it is). I didn't comment on it cos that was exactly what I was picturing in my head lol. So in a way I thought that it had already been decided if that makes sense?. But yes, I love it :D
Also image maker on the shoulders? Do you want to make that a definate? cos I like it :) It makes the top look less flat.

I'm so excited about the jumper look, I'm gonna get going on that after I've done this post. But I might leave the zip and get Shan to help me so I don't fuck it up like I did on the shorts.

I can bring tea bags in also, I have loooooads. I may even bring in a cup ;). I'll try and get in for nine but I haven't slept much so I'll probably change my mind and stay in bed. Who knows. But I will definately be in for the meeting and can stay for however long after.

When I've finished the template I'll put my designs up on here with it, or do you just want a list??? or visuals??? Like scans and stuff.

LATEX SKIRT! What a devil this seems to be. I quite like painting over the mannequin but it's gonna be a shame to loose the texture of the seams. It depends how many squares you've got done already, cos if you have quite a few then I'd go for the panels of square latex then just latex at the side :)

OK.....

So with the endless latex problems I've had I getting to think I'll never have enough little squares made and sewn in time. Soooo... I need your opinion. Do I:

1. Keep on with the latexing, just try and try to do the whole patch work skirt.
2. Just do a panel of patch work in the middle of the front and back and paint the latex on to the mannequin  for the rest of the skirt, do you get me?
3. OR I could just paint the latex onto the mannequin, dry it, paint another layer, and another and another, until thick enough. So it would be one continuous latex skirt, no seams, except for the one for the zip at the back.


Thought? Suggestions?

Because the longer I leave the already made patches, the darker they go, so now the patches will never match, which is a bitch.

1. Possible commenting on the AMAZING PIECE (because it's so amazing that it has to be in capitals) as you seem to have skipped past this. Is it what you are picturing? Do you think it needs changes? 

2. The crystal castles songs weren't like ones that I thought could defo work, just ideas. I like empathy too, but more just for myself than the show! haha. And I didnt listen to them all the way through so yeah. But hopefully kris will have some good ideas. :)

3. I LOVE the jumper look, and I think if it is photographed like how we said before, with her hair like blowing out over her face it could look so so so amazing. 

4. I am very happy with the quote as the title, I'll email it to Kim now. I've been reading it over and over, and I just think no one else will have anything like that and it sums up our collection so well, with that shock factor included. Yes!

5. Monday. Right I originally was going to come in for the morning, and go after the meeting to meet this model. BUT she's changed her plans and so I think I'll have to re-scedule with her, so I will be in college at normal time until, whenever! So I reckon we can almost finish that ropey bad boy!! :) 

6. I need to buy a new topstitching foot. I cant believe how shit mine has got.

8. Would you do me a favour dear, could you post on here what colours and fabrics your designs are. Because I know what theyre like I just want to design them right. Do you get me? If not, we'll speak tomorrow about it :)

1) You're amazing, that list made me very happy and the bodice should be crossed off by tomorrow. (I've only just got home). So the jumper look will be done by Monday. YES!


2) I saw your facebook status about missing the rope skirt, I also feel the same and can't wait to get back onto it. Monday? Meeting, then rope? What do you think?.


3) THE QUOTE!!!!! I love it, I'm pleased to use it as our title if you are :) I've been having a think and couldn't come up with anything better. It's nice that it's from our research also. 


4) I need to do a template for this project, i'm not pleased with the one I've got.  Might do that in a bit. EXCITING!


5) Music!! I'm gonna go and have a listen, I will type as I do.


Empathy - I don't know if I like the beginning all that much BUT I do like it when she starts singing :) Kinda dreamy in a way, and when the it sort of boops for a bit like  2minutes into the song, if it's timed right that could be where theres a sort of switch in the collection, depending what order they go in. IdeasIDEAS!


Fainting Spells - Oooo I like this already:) Like the beats kicking in. It's kinda reminding me of the fashion film a little bit for some reason. Actually, I don't like it, it's kind of irritating me. BUT could that link with making uncomfortablness more intense.  Ummm I'm not too sure about this one.  GAH! I'm turning it off!


Pap smear - I like the song. I think Im gonna download this. I think it might be a bit funky though. Like I'm imagine the models would be bopping down the catwalk to the beat. It's not looking good in my head. Although I do feel like walking to it now. :D


Okay out of those three I like the first one best. Don't forget we've got that meeting with Kris on friday. We could present them to him. Haha!
